In the sphere of activity of new technologies, in January-April months of 2018, 122.7 million somoni were allocated from the domestic resources of the enterprise and from foreign investments for production of new products, creation of new production, import of technological equipment and expansion of production assets in the sphere of industry.
– in the food industry 3 enterprises for the amount of 48.9 million somoni;
– in the sphere of light and silkworm industry, 1 enterprise for the amount of 30.0 million somoni;
– in the machine building, chemical and defense industries, 1 enterprise for the amount of 17.3 million somoni;
– in the sphere of the coal industry, 3 enterprises for the amount of 14.143 million somoni;
– In the sphere of the construction materials industry, 6 enterprises for the amount of 12.4 million somoni were introduced in technology and new technologies.
According to statistics for the 3 months of 2018, 26 enterprises and new workshops were commissioned in the republic with the formation of 217 new ones.
Sughd Region – 10 enterprises with 115 new jobs;
Khatlon region – 3 enterprises with 17 new jobs;
GBAO – 1 enterprise with 1 new work place;
RRS – 6 enterprises with 43 new jobs;
The city of Dushanbe – 6 enterprises with 41 new jobs.
According to statistics for 4 months of 2018, 1999 reporting enterprises were registered in the republic (together with small enterprises), 147 industrial enterprises and workshops did not function

Effective activity of enterprises in sphere of light industry in January – April months of 2018.
Thanks to the special attention to the sphere of development of the country’s light industry, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, for the support of entrepreneurs of production and the organization of the creation of new job places, this branch is recognized effective.
Light industry enterprises, taking into account the cotton ginning enterprises, produced more than 597 million somoni in January-April of 2018, which is by 250 million somoni more compared to this period of 2017, the rate of development is 172%.
During this period, the production of cotton fiber in ginneries amounted to 9,928 tons, which is 11,460 tons more than in this period in 2017, spinning enterprises produced 5,819 tons of cotton yarn, which is 437 tons more than in January-April of the same period in 2017, of the development is 108%, and in the weaving enterprises 1534 thousand cubic meters of cotton were produced, which is 156 thousand cubic meters more than in this period of 2017.
At the expense of enterprises of workshops and centers of the industry 69.3 thousand m2 of atlas and adras were produced, which is 59.9 thousand m2 more compared to this period of 2017, the rate of development is 7.4 times.
The production of apparel for the reporting period amounted to 90.4 million somoni, which is 28.8 million somoni more compared to this period of 2017, the rate of development is 146.7%.
The furniture manufacturing company produced products worth 12.3 million somoni, which is 1.1 million somoni more than in January-April months of 2017.
Carpet enterprises produced 976 thousand cubic meters of carpet products, which is 91 thousand cubic meters more than in the same period last year.
Hosiery enterprises in general produced about 2 million pairs of socks, which is 709 thousand pairs more compared to this period in 2017.
Skin processing was brought to 165 thousand pieces, which is 5.8 thousand more compared to this period in 2017, the growth rate is 103.7%. Shoe enterprises produced 173 thousand pairs of shoes, which is 51 thousand pairs more compared to this period of 2017, the growth rate is 142%.
Export of ready goods abroad, issued by enterprises of light industry in January-April of 2018 amounted to 180 million somoni, the growth rate compared to the previous year was 122%.
Manufacture of the following products, including garments (official clothing, special working clothes, school uniform, kimono, for pilgrims, bed linen, blankets, flag, haberdashery, for newborns and folk crafts), socks, carpets and furniture in the industry are recognized as imports which change products, and with the purpose of their implementation, specific measures are taken.
