On April 5, 2021, the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Tajikistan Sherali Kabir took part in the INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition, where he spoke at the main strategic session of the event – “World industrial production in search of growth drivers”.
The Minister noted that Tajikistan is feeling coming changes after the crisis and that approximately 60% of the population of the republic are young people. In this regard, the use of such potential is very important for the development of the economy. As a successful example, Sherali Kabir cited the creation of an Artificial Intelligence Lab in Tajikistan last year despite the coronavirus pandemic, which has already presented its product to the banking sector. The Minister, also noting the favorable investment conditions in the country, invited investors to the Republic of Tajikistan.
The International Industrial Exhibition is taking place in Tashkent from 5 to 7 April.
It should be noted that the event was attended by industrial companies and business delegations from Tajikistan, Russia, Uzbekistan, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Japan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. The exhibition presents transport and power engineering products, industrial IT, technologies for cities, medical technology and pharmaceuticals, metallurgy and materials, plastics and rubbers.
